What does it cost to use Spotmarket?

As a buyer, it is completely free to use spotmarket.dk. You only pay for the items you buy.

As a seller, it is free if your lot is not sold. Should you be lucky to sell a lot, we will take a smaller sales fee for this:

5.95% of the selling price for trades under 50,000 kr.

4.95% of the sales price for trades from 50,000 to 99,999 kr.

3.95% of the selling price for trades from 100,000 to 249,999 kr.

2.95% of the selling price for trades over 250,000 kr.

 

How long are the goods on the portal?

– 6 weeks or until the item is sold.

If the product has not been sold within 6 weeks, you can easily reactivate the ad easily. We recommend reassessing the price if no activity has been over 6 weeks.

 

Who can buy goods at Spotmarket?

In principle, all companies. The companies that wish to trade on Spotmarket, creates a user to access the marketplace.

 

Who can sell items on Spotmarket?

In principle, all companies. The companies that wish to trade on Spotmarket, creates a user to access the marketplace.

 

What prices are quoted on Spotmarket?

The prices you see are freely delivered to Danish address (bridge access islands), incl. Charges but excl. VAT and possible extra fee’s.

 

How does the transport work?

It is the seller’s responsibility to deliver the ordered goods within the announced delivery time. Transport costs are included in the stated price.

 

Can I negotiate the price?

Yes, we have a counter offer function where you can send a bid to the seller. Seller has the option to oppose back, accept or reject the bid. The negotiation to buy and sell continue back and forth until common ground is found.

 

How do I buy goods at Spotmarket?

Find the item you want to buy, add the number of items, packages, pallets or the whole lot to your basket. Go to the basket once you have found everything you want to buy and press “Checkout”. Then the order will be sent and you will receive a confirmation of the purchase immediately and you will pay directly to the supplier. Your goods are subsequently delivered by the supplier.

 

How do I pay my purchase at Spotmarket?

Spotmarket is merely the intermediary of the offer. Seller sends an invoice that the buyer pays. Buyer and seller deal directly with each other.

 

How do I change my password?

Login with your regular password. Then press the orange icon in the top right corner.

Select “Change password” and enter your new password and press “Save changes.”

What do I do if I’ve forgotten my password?

If you have forgotten your password, you can ask for a new one at the login button on the front page, where you must tap “Forgot password”. Then you will receive a link on your mail where you must follow the guide to create a new password

How do I find an old invoice basis?

Buyer: Go to the top bar and select “My Orders” – All completed purchase orders can be downloaded in PDF format.

Seller: Go to the top bar and select “My Sales” – All completed sales orders can be downloaded in PDF format.

 

How do I change my choice of notifications?

Go to the top bar and select “Notifications”. If you do not want to receive any notifications at all, select “No” in the first box.

If you wish to receive notifications, you can choose whether to receive all or just specific categories.

In addition, you can opt for notifications to be sent at a particular time. Eg. every Tuesday and Thursday at. 12.30 pm – Customize it according to your own wishes.

 

How do I change my profile information?

Press the orange icon in the top right corner. Select the point where your name is written. Here you can edit your information. It is also possible to add an additional delivery address or a new billing email address.

 

How do I sign up for the newsletter?

Go down to the bottom of the page. Navigate down to the right corner. Here you can enter your email address. Then you will receive our newsletter in the future.

 

How do I create an ad on Spotmarket?

After login, select the “Create an offer” box on the left side.

Then you simply fill out the required fields. We always recommend attaching a nice and clear image of the product, a good price and well-formed product text.

If you sell your item either in pcs, colli or pallet, you have the option to create brand discounts.

Eg. 1 pallet, where each unit costs 10 kroner and at 2 pallets, each unit costs 8 kroner.

 

How do I reactivate an ad?

If you need to re-activate an old ad, tap “Previous offers” in the top menu. Then you can re-activate the ad again.

If you need to edit the ad’s information, you must activate the ad, and then you can choose to edit it – Press “Activate ad” again to save your changes.

The marketplace is open 24/7/365!

Why does Spotmarket look different than the last time I used it?

Spotmarket was relaunched in early November 2018. New design, features and greater focus on user-friendliness. You can open your browser and press “Control, Shift + Delete”, choose clear cache and approve. Then update your window with F5 or enter the homepage again. Now you should be able to use the page optimally.

Why can’t I press anywhere on my screen after login?

If you’ve been part of the old Spotmarket, you’ll need to clear your cache to be able to use the new website optimally.

Open your browser and press “Control, Shift + Delete”, select clear cache and approve. Then update your window with F5 or enter the homepage again. Now you should be able to use the page optimally.

How do I change the language on the website?

Go up to the right corner and touch the three-line icon. At the bottom you can choose between DK or EN (English).

Changing the language changes all text on the page. Prices will still appear in DKK.

 

Which browser is recommended to use?

Spotmarket works best by using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Safari.

We discourage using Internet Explorer or IE.
